This solo was written for use in a sacrament meeting on Easter of 2010. The song was subsequently revised and performed for “Reflections on Christ,” a Good Friday cultural event sponsored by the Loveland, Colorado Stake in 2011. Click for more info and file downloads »
This is a modal hymn that eloquently teaches the Plan of Salvation. The text by David Macfarlane was written in stages – before, during, and after his missionary service in Argentina. The hymn describes elements of the premortal life, the veil, recognizing the Spirit, and being reconciled with God through Jesus Christ, followed by stirring descriptions of the praise and good works that accompany true conversion.
Written by Nathan Howe for the baptism of our friend Amber in summer 2005, this solo expounds on the process of obtaining faith and allowing Christ to develop it within ourselves.
