Abide with Me

Baritone solo with TTBB a cappella men’s chorus or piano or organ

cap7

One of the best known hymns of all time, Abide with Me was written by Henry F. Lyte and William H. Monk. Nathan Howe has arranged Abide with Me for four-part men’s chorus with a baritone solo.

This arrangement received an Award of Merit in the 2011 Church Music Submissions of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Ideally, this arrangement would be sung a cappella; however, a piano or organ may easily double the choral parts if necessary. This piece may also be used as a solo baritone arrangement with the soloist singing the melody and the choral parts played on piano or organ.
